| The CIA says Americans should cancel their vacations in Russia, Ukrane, China and Indonesia during the first few week of the new year because of the poor Y2K preparation in those countries. To illustrate the lack of preparedness in Indonesia, the CIA's top computer geek, Lawrence Gershwin, cited a newspaper interview that quoted the country's national electricity board on their Y2K plan. They're going to watch what happens in Australia and New Zealand, which will give them 6 hours to prepare for whatever types of problems happen in those countries. | ||
